If you’re traveling through Jordan, a visit to the Dead Sea is a must. Floating in the Dead Sea is a unique experience, and you simply must experience it at least once. #1 Don’t shave for two days<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

The Dead Sea is 10 times saltier than the ocean. So you can imagine it stings incredibly if you have a cut or have just shaved your legs. Therefore, don’t shave for at least two days beforehand and do your best to avoid any cuts in the days leading up to it.<\/span><\/p>\n

#2 Wear an old bikini or swimsuit<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

Chances are your bikini or swim trunks will be discolored or stretched out after soaking in the Dead Sea. Therefore, make sure you wear old swimwear. It might also be helpful to wear water shoes or sandals. There are many slippery stones in the water, making it easy to slip.
