Mini travel guide full of useful tips for Puerto Escondido

Puerto Escondido is our favorite spot in Mexico. Right at the end of the bay, you’ll find La Punta, a laid-back neighborhood on the outskirts of Puerto Escondido, right on the beach. Around sunset, many people flock to this wonderful beach. Some play volleyball, a group takes a yoga class, someone plays guitar, and every now and then someone comes by selling homemade treats. Don’t be surprised if these are “happy brownies,” because La Punta is a place where anything goes. As soon as the sun sets, live music starts in almost every restaurant, and you can sip cocktails with your toes in the sand. Puerto Escondido is a slice of Mexican paradise. In this article, you’ll find all our tips for fun things to do, how to get there, and where to stay in Puerto Escondido.
